Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

1. Service

KeyC provides an AI API gateway with virtual keys, budgets, usage metering, and a control dashboard. By using KeyC you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials issued to your organization and for activity under your virtual keys. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.

3. Provider keys & usage

You supply your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or other provider credentials. You remain the customer of those providers and pay them directly. KeyC does not markup token usage.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use KeyC to violate provider terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. We may suspend keys or accounts that abuse the service or create security risk.

5. Privacy

We meter metadata (tokens, model, latency, cost, status). We do not store prompt or completion content. See our Privacy Policy and DPA for details.

6. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly according to the plan selected. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel via the billing portal or by contacting us; access continues through the paid period.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeyC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including provider outages or spend incurred through misconfigured keys. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the three months preceding the claim.
